HILLSDALE COLLEGE - The Michigan Monarchs evened up its series against the Flag City Sluggers with a 10-5 win at Hillsdale College.

The game saw a total of 12 errors with seven of them charged to Flag City and five to the Monarchs.

Cannon Paul (Western Michigan) lead the way offensively for the Monarchs going 2-for-3 with double and two RBIs. Kopper Etheridge (Madonna Unversity) was a terror on the base paths drawing four walks and scoring four runs.

Flag City’s Harrison Engskov (Arkansas State transfer) hit is team leading third home run of the season. Andrew Stechschulte (Ohio Northern) also provided two hits including a double and a run scored.

The series will be decided on Thursday in Findlay at Marathon Diamonds with first pitch scheduled for 7:05pm.
