Flag City Sluggers Announce Findlay High School as Home Ballpark for 2027 Season

FINDLAY, OH — The Flag City Sluggers officially announced that the team will play its home games for the upcoming 2027 Great Lakes Summer Collegiate League (GLSCL) season at Woody Curlis Field at Findlay High School. This is an exciting milestone as the club expands its operational footprint to accommodate larger crowds, community organizations, and corporate partners in its third season.

By partnering with Findlay City Schools, the Sluggers are unlocking enhanced ballpark capacity designed specifically to host groups, youth sports teams, family outings, and local business outings. Additionally, the venue expansion introduces elevated sponsorship inventory, including premier outfield signage, branded inning breaks, and targeted game-day activations, giving local and regional businesses greater visibility to Sluggers fans.

"We are thrilled to partner with Findlay City Schools for our 2027 season," said Joe Fenimore, President of the Board for the Flag City Sluggers. "The spacious park layout allow us to welcome much larger corporate and community groups for memorable night-out experiences. At the same time, it provides our business partners with dynamic new channels to connect with engaged local families while supporting high-caliber summer baseball."

Key Highlights for the 2027 Season Include:

  • Group Outings & Event Spaces: Designated gathering areas capable of accommodating corporate functions, team parties, and large community groups with custom ticketing and concession packages.

  • Expanded Sponsorship Packages: Upgraded inventory for corporate partners, ranging from high-visibility outfield wall signage and digital broadcast sponsorship to custom fan engagement promotions and Title Game sponsorships.

  • Community Alignment: Deepened collaboration between the Sluggers' student-intern operations team, Findlay City Schools, and the community.

The 2027 GLSCL schedule, along with group packages, season ticket packages, theme night announcements, and host family opportunities, will be released in early 2027. Businesses and organizations interested in 2027 group bookings or sponsorship opportunities are encouraged to reserve early.
